Our source has been reliably informed by a source in the know that a former Orlando Pirates striker has surfaced in Cape Town.
As reported on the Soccer Laduma website earlier today, sources revealed that Tendai Ndoro is currently being linked with a return to Mzansi’s top flight.
The Zimbabwean international made the move to Saudi Arabian-outfit, Al-Faisaly, during the July/August transfer window period. However, sources have since revealed to the crew that the player has been spotted training with Ajax Cape Town under the watchful eye of his former head coach, Muhsin Ertugral.
Ndoro was under the mentorship of Ertugral during the head coach’s short stint with Pirates in the 2016/17 campaign, where the Zimbabwean scored seven goals before Ertugral’s departure from the club.
It comes as no surprise that Ertugral may be showing interest in trying to bring the player to the Urban Warriors, with indications that Ndoro will be able to help the team turn their form around in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign.
It remains to be seen if Ajax do sign the player, with indications that talks of a possible deal have started.
