Orlando Pirates are said to be considering loaning out central defender Justice Chabalala once again. He returned to Mayfair after his spell with Chippa United at the end of last season and has struggled to secure a place in head coach Milutin Sredojevic’s starting line-up so far this season.
If this continues, the 25-year-old could find himself plying his trade for the Chilli Boys under the tutelage of Teboho Moloi once again.
Some supporters have raised their eyebrows after hearing the news, believing that the Giyani-born defender could play a vital role in Bucs’ backline.
“That’s madness! How can you loan out a better defender than Jele and Gcaba combined? This team needs a better coach who will not tolerate mediocrity.” – Mahase79
“I just wonder who is in charge of the coming and going of players, clearly that person is smoking something strong. Ai maan sies, then Gcaba nabo Jele, they remain! Mxm, Pirates will regret letting him (Chabalala) go.” – Nkosana Bhakaniya
“That would be a great mistake by OP, Justice is definitely one of the best defenders in the PSL. In fact, the only natural centre back that the team has. The rest are just makeshift defenders who, at some stage, played as fullbacks and now being drawn into the central defence. The fact that this boy is warming up the bench for Jele is a mistake on its own; loaning him out would just be idiotic, to say the least.” – OnceandAlways
