Orlando Pirates fan says Rhulani should prove to be a head coach in the PSL

Following reports that Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena has attracted interest from a number Premier Soccer League teams, Supporters Club’s Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Bucs fan Siyanda Nino to get his views on the rising rumours.

Hi Bhakaniya. Rumour has it that PSL clubs are in the hunt of your assistant coach. How do you feel about this?

Siyanda: Honestly, I’d say he must go.

Lerato: Really? It appears the majority of the Ghost are against it. Why?

Siyanda: Yeah, he must go run his own race, he is getting too much attention as an assistant coach. I think it’s time to prove to people why there’s so much noise around him being the best, he must prove his worth as a head coach now.

Lerato: In your view, would you say coach Rhulani is ready for such a big challenge and responsibility?

Siyanda: He may never know until he tries. He strikes me as a good schooler of the beautiful game so for him to implement his ideas his own playing style and philosophy he needs to be his own man.

Lerato: Great, Bhakaniya. Which team would you say is most suitable for him to get started as the head coach?

Siyanda: A team like SuperSport United would best suit him. It is a well-organised team with all the resources a coach would need to succeed, so definitely SuperSport.
