Mamelodi Sundowns enjoyed a head start to the January transfer window by announcing, in December last year, that they had secured the services of Aubrey Ngoma. But do you know how much money they saved on his services?
The Brazilians have already signed off on Leonardo Castro and Kwanda Mngonyama’s exits, and have welcomed Ngoma to the club.
It has been speculated that the pint-sized midfielder joined the Chloorkop outfit for a fee of R8 million, with City seemingly accidently revealing the fee in a tweet last week.
If this is the case, Sundowns have managed to save roughly R1.6 million on his services, with his market value is said to be worth R9.6 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Still, R8 million is no small change, especially after spending a very long while sidelined due to injury, but Downs will be hoping he pays off his transfer fee quickly.
