Mamelodi Sundowns’ Oupa Manyisa says they are using Champions League experience

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa says the three goals they scored in the first half made it easier for them to manage the game.

A brace from Khama Billiat and a solitary strike from Sibusiso Vilakazi guided Sundowns to a 3-0 win over, Dikwena while Manyisa was named as theMan of the Match.

“Firstly I’d like to thank my teammates and the technical team for giving me an opportunity to play today. We told ourselves that we need to forget about the past results and move on in life. So we came here with the right mentality of trying to convert the chances we create,” Manyisa told SuperSport TV.

[In the second half] “We told ourselves that we need to manage the game because we were 3-0 up we can’t just go forward, forward. We had to maintain the pace of the game.

“They always tell us to use the experience that we got from CAF [competitions] to try and bring the game down. The opponents wants to score so you have to take the game down and play our normal game.”
