Kaizer Chiefs will have to table an impressive offer to Mamelodi Sundowns for the services of one of their strikers after a club from abroad enquired about the player’s availability.
As reported in the past, Leonardo Castro has been linked with a move to Chiefs, as his immediate future at Masandawana is currently in the dark.
The Colombian striker has opted against putting pen to paper on a new contract, with Head Coach Pitso Mosimane since resigning himself to be without the player’s services in the upcoming January transfer window period.
According to Siya sources, a club in Thailand has enquired about Castro’s availability and could look to put in a bid for the striker in the upcoming transfer window.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the Soweto giants will act quickly to land their transfer target.
Castro’s contract with Sundowns will be coming to an end on June, 30 of 2018, and despite Sundowns only able to cash in on a cut fee for the player come January next year, indications are that the Brazilians will want an impressive offer before letting the player go.
