Thabo Rakhale could be available for a move back to Gauteng at the end of the season.
Jomo, as the player is known in football circles, is attracting interest from PSL clubs that are keen on signing him, according to sources in the know.
As reported, the winger could secure a move away from Chippa United, should interested clubs manage to reach a deal for the player with the Port Elizabeth outfit.
“Thabo Rakhale has offers coming his way and is weighing his options. Don’t get me wrong, the player is happy at Chippa, but a move for him away from the club can’t be ruled out. He is attracting interest from clubs in Gauteng,” said the source.
The skilful player is working on reviving his career with Chippa after the 27-year-old joined the Eastern Cape club from Orlando Pirates in January.
While it has been reported in some sections of local media that the player joined the Chilli Boys on loan from Bucs, a well-placed source has confirmed that the winger is on a permanent deal with the club.
“A lot of people think that the player is on loan at Chippa, and that’s not the case, as he signed a permanent deal with the club. He is happy at Chippa, otherwise he wouldn’t have joined the club on a permanent deal. But there are offers coming his way for his services,” the informant concluded.
Rakhale joined Chippa on a three-year-deal.
