Bloemfontein Celtic defender says Gabuza is a tough opponent

Bloemfontein Celtic defender Alfred Ndengane was named of the Man of the Match in the win over Orlando Pirates, and he has  now spoken of his individual battle with Thamsanqa Gabuza.

Celtic made it three wins from three Absa Premiership matches after defeating the Buccaneers 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

“Thank God and my coach for giving me this opportunity. It was tough game especially in the second half Pirates were coming,” Ndengane told SuperSport.
“[Thamsanqa] Gabuza is a tough opponent, but I know him most especially when it’s high balls and him using the elbows and stuff but I managed to hold on,” he said.
The defender also thanked club’s supporters for keeping the side going during their struggles off the field.
“We told ourselves that no matter what’s happening outside… [we keep pushing] and thanks to the supporters and we keep going and be humble,” he added.
