A move away from Polokwane City could be on the cards for Jabulani Maluleke, with Siya sources indicating that he is likely to sign a deal elsewhere.
The Siya crew has learnt that Maluleke could be set to join Free State Stars for the new season. The midfielder, who has been one of the influential players for Rise and Shine since his arrival at the club from SuperSport United in 2014, is wanted by Ea Lla Koto for their 2018/19 PSL campaign.
“Jabulani Maluleke is likely to leave Polokwane City for Free State Stars this end of the season. Stars are serious about signing the player. Maluleke’s contract with Polokwane City is coming to an end in June. He will join Stars as a free agent, should his move be completed,” said the source.
Earlier this year, it was reported by the Siya crew that Orlando Pirates were one of the clubs to have shown interest in the talented player, as confirmed by sources in the know at the time.
However, it now seems that Stars could be the club to land the 36-year-old player’s services before anyone else.
