Orlando Pirates will host trials exclusively for U-16 to U-19 goalkeepers at the Randburg Sports Complex this weekend.
The trials will take place on 14/15/16 January.
Pirates released a statement, which reads: ‘Orlando Pirates will be hosting youth goalkeeper trials over the weekend at the Randburg Sports Complex. The trials are exclusively for goalkeepers who are between the ages of 16 and 19.
‘All participants in the trials are required to report to training with the following:
‘Physical ID / passport / birth certificate
Copy of your mother’s ID
Shorts / pants
‘The trial details are as follows:
‘Sunday, 14 January 2018 @ 10H00
Monday, 15 January 2018 @ 12H00
Tuesday, 16 January 2018 @ 12H00
‘Please note that there is NO COST for participation in Orlando Pirates trials. There has been a recent spate of fraudsters taking advantage of families and making them pay for trials in the name of Orlando Pirates. The club strongly condemns this behaviour and urges all participants and their families to be aware of anyone suggesting that they pay for participation in Orlando Pirates trials. All trials hosted by the club are FREE OF CHARGE to all members of the public who meet the criteria required.’
