Siphelele Ntshangase was on top of every Kaizer Chiefs fan wish list for this transfer window. The midfielder’s much-anticipated move to Naturena Village has finally happened and the news has been well received by the Amakhosi faithful.
Ntshangase’s move to the Glamour Boys has restored most Chiefs supporters’ faith in the team. Supporters Club’s Lerato Mkhondo wasted no time as she contacted a couple of ecstatic Amakhosi fans to get their views on their new signing.
She caught up with Sylvester Nkosi, who couldn’t contain his excitement.
Lerato: Ola Syl! Ntshangase is finally a Khosi! You’ve been anticipating this move. How do you feel?
Sylvester: Yooh! I’m over the moon I can’t even explain it! Look, Mr Kaizer Motaung Sr has outdone himself on this one. He did an incredible job and we thank him!
Lerato: What do you think Ntshangase’s presence at the club will bring?
Sylvester: Firstly, we needed someone who could fill the void Yeye (Reneilwe Letsholonyane) left and Ntshangase is the perfect man. That boy is more attacking and aggressive so he will definitely bring stability there and maybe we can move Shabba (Simphiwe Tshabalala) to his regular position. Listen, George Maluleka is a good midfielder but he is not as attacking as this Ntshangase boy. Obviously there is a possibility that he may not play on Saturday but we are looking forward to seeing them play in our second fixture of the year. I can already imagine our starting XI with all the quality we have now, eish! But it’s all up to Steve Komphela, he is the coach after all.
Lerato: Fam, let’s leave it there! Well done to you and the rest of the Amakhosi fans.
Sylvester: One more thing, please. It would be really great if Mr Motaung can get us Vincent Pule and Xola Mlambo from Bidvest Wits, and, Sinethemba Jantjie from Free State Stars for a complete and fearful Kaizer Chiefs squad. That would be really great! We also need to sort out the Brilliant Khuzwayo issue, it would be sad to see him leave.
