SuperSport United and Keegan Ritchie have agreed on a mutual termination of the defender’s contract as the fullback goes in search of a new club.
The 27-year-old has made just five league appearances for SuperSport since joining them back in 2016, and was expected to leave them at the end of the current campaign when his deal in Tshwane came to an end.
However, the Siya crew have been informed that the former Kaizer Chiefs man is now free to open up his search for a new team immediately, with a mutual termination being agreed that sees him become a free agent.
At this point in time it remains to be seen where the left back will end up, although he is unlikely to be short of suitors as clubs in the Absa Premiership look to beef up their squads during the transfer window.
SuperSport have also parted ways with both Dove Wome and Cole Alexander as Eric Tinkler trims down his side before bringing in some fresh faces.
